Early Feeding and Formula Linked to Obesity

A new study shows that introducing solid foods earlier than 4 months of age seems to increase the risk of obesity in children. This was especially true for infants using formula, rather than breastfed. Researchers are not sure why this is true, but may be due to formula feeding mothers missing feeding cues, poor eating habits of their own, or using food to comfort a fussy baby. Read more here …

Human Papilloma Virus, or HPV, is a sexually transmitted infection. It is also wide spread. It often causes no symptoms. HPV 16 and 18 are associated with cervical dysplasia and cervical cancer.
